Detroit’s Jenkins hits dramatic tying three at regulation buzzer, Wiggins wins for Miami at OT horn, and Wembanyama dominates in Spurs victory during action-packed schedule.

WASHINGTON – On a night of spectacular finishes across the NBA, the Detroit Pistons emerged from overtime with a 137-135 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday, extending their win streak to seven games behind a historic career-high 46-point triple-double from Cade Cunningham.

The victory highlighted an evening filled with last-second drama that included two true buzzer-beaters and multiple overtime thrillers.

    Detroit’s Double-Clutch Comeback

The Pistons seemed destined for defeat until reserve guard Daniss Jenkins authored a stunning final sequence in regulation. After Washington’s C.J. McCollum (42 points) gave the Wizards a five-point lead with 14 seconds remaining, Jenkins hit a three-pointer with three seconds left. Following a Washington free throw, Jenkins launched another three as time expired, sending the game to overtime tied at 127-127.

“I know what I’m capable of,” said Jenkins, who finished with a career-high 24 points. “I just had to believe in myself and trust in my work.”

Cunningham’s spectacular line included 12 rebounds, 11 assists, and five steals to complement his scoring outburst. Jalen Duren added 19 points and 14 rebounds for the surging Pistons (9-2).

    League-Wide Last-Second Drama

The dramatic finishes extended across the league:

    • In Miami, Andrew Wiggins slammed home an alley-oop dunk as overtime expired to give the Heat a 140-138 victory over Cleveland. The win ended the Cavaliers’ four-game streak and came after Donovan Mitchell hit a tying three-pointer with 0.4 seconds left in the extra period.

    • In Orlando, Desmond Bane redeemed an 0-for-5 three-point shooting night by hitting the game-winning three at the buzzer to lift the Magic over Portland 115-112.

    Wembanyama’s Complete Dominance

Beyond the buzzer-beaters, San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama delivered a masterclass in Chicago, pouring in 38 points while adding 12 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 5 assists in the Spurs’ 121-117 victory. The rookie sensation shot a remarkable 6-of-9 from
