The state-of-the-art campus, set to welcome students in 2027, will combine a rigorous British curriculum with a strong emphasis on innovation, sports, and student wellbeing.

DUBAI – A new premium school is set to rise in Dubailand, as developers broke ground this week on Chrysalis International Academy. The project, a collaboration between Nalapad Investments and MVK Holdings, is a direct response to the rapid growth of residential communities in the Liwan and Dubailand areas and the increasing demand for high-quality, British-curriculum education.

Scheduled for a September 2027 opening, Chrysalis International Academy will provide education from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 13, preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. The school is designed to be a cornerstone of the community, aligning with the KHDA’s Education 2033 strategy to make Dubai a global leader in education.

    Designed for Innovation and Wellbeing

The academy’s campus plans reveal a strong focus on cutting-edge facilities and student-centric design. Key features will include:

    • A unique raised football and cricket ground.
    • Dedicated innovation hubs and STEAM labs.
    • Multiple temperature-controlled swimming pools.
    • A state-of-the-art auditorium and interactive learning spaces.

    Leadership Vision: Beyond Academics

The leadership behind the project envisions a school that nurtures the whole child. “We want Chrysalis to stand as a symbol of excellence and happiness — a school where every learner feels seen, heard, and supported,” said Abdulla Nalapad Ahmed, Managing Director of Nalapad Investments. He described the project as a “promise to families” in Dubai’s growing communities.

Sameer K Mohamed, Managing Director of MVK Holdings, added, “Chrysalis International Academy brings together proven British educational practices with cutting-edge design. Our vision is to create an academy where students thrive emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually.”

The academic programme will be delivered by qualified UK educators and enriched with STEAM, Arabic, and Islamic studies. The school’s ethos will be rooted in fostering critical thinking, innovation, and ethical leadership.

With its ambitious vision and world-class infrastructure, Chrysalis International Academy is poised to become a significant new option for families seeking a comprehensive and forward-thinking education in Dubai.
