Al-Shabab tops team standings ahead of Mike Tyson Club and Al-Ittihad; tournament drew over 429 participants in preliminary rounds.

RIYADH – The Kingdom’s Elite Belt boxing contest for men and women concluded Friday evening at the Mike Tyson Club in Boulevard City, Riyadh, crowning new champions across 20 weight categories.

The final stage of the tournament saw boxers secure their gold belts after a journey that began with more than 429 participants in the preliminary rounds. A large crowd of spectators witnessed the presentation of belts and medals to the winners.

    Al-Shabab leads club standings

In the final team standings, Al-Shabab Club claimed first place, followed by Mike Tyson Club in second and Al-Ittihad in third.

The strong showing from Al-Shabab underscores the growing competitiveness among Saudi boxing clubs as the sport continues to expand across the Kingdom.

Saudi Boxing Federation sets sights higher

With this event, the Saudi Boxing Federation aims to set a new benchmark for the sport across the Kingdom and further raise the presence of Saudi boxing on the global stage.

The successful conclusion of the Kingdom’s Elite Belt represents another milestone in the federation’s broader strategy to develop local talent, promote women’s participation in combat sports, and position Riyadh as an emerging hub for international boxing.
