Peak hour rates are revised for November 2, with a reduced evening fee, to manage traffic flow as thousands of cyclists take over Sheikh Zayed Road.

In preparation for the sixth edition of the Dubai Ride, Salik Company has announced revised toll gate rates for Sunday, November 2, 2025. The temporary changes are designed to support smooth traffic flow during the massive community cycling event, which is a flagship initiative of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.

The key adjustment sees the evening peak hour toll reduced to Dh4, a discount from the standard Dh6 rate, to encourage motorists to adjust their travel plans during the event.

Here are the revised Salik toll rates for November 2, 2025:

    • Morning Peak (6:00 am – 10:00 am): Dh6
    • Daytime (10:00 am – 4:00 pm): Dh4
    • Evening Peak (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm): Dh4 (reduced from the usual Dh6)
    • Night (8:00 pm – 1:00 am): Dh4

In a statement on social media platform X, Salik said the initiative is part of its “ongoing efforts to support smooth traffic flow during major community events in Dubai and to further enhance the smart mobility experience for all road users.”

The Dubai Ride will see thousands of cyclists gather on Sheikh Zayed Road at 6:15 am. Participants can choose between a family-friendly 4km route through Downtown Dubai or a more challenging 12km course past iconic landmarks like the Museum of the Future and the Burj Khalifa.

Motorists are advised to plan their journeys, as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has also confirmed road closures will be in effect from 3:30 am until 10:30 am on the event day.
