New online system cuts out the middleman, allowing international worshippers to secure visas and plan their entire spiritual journey with a few clicks.

RIYADH – Saudi Arabia has revolutionized the process for performing Umrah with the introduction of the Nusuk Umrah platform. The new digital service, launched by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, empowers international pilgrims to obtain their official visa and book all necessary travel services directly through a single, unified website.

This initiative effectively provides a direct official channel for pilgrims, offering an alternative to traditional methods that relied solely on accredited agents. The platform, available at https://umrah.nusuk.sa/, is a cornerstone of the Kingdom’s ambitious Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance the pilgrim experience and welcome a growing number of visitors.

Through the portal, users enjoy unprecedented flexibility. They can either select all-inclusive packages or tailor-make their pilgrimage by booking individual components like flights, hotels, and ground transportation separately.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated that the digital move is designed to “improve service quality and enrich the pilgrim experience.” By streamlining the entire process—from visa application to final itinerary—the Kingdom is positioning itself at the forefront of spiritual tourism, making the sacred journey more accessible and convenient for Muslims across the globe.
